They had gotten their uniforms right before their very first class started, not wanting to spend the day in short skirts in such a formal school. When they tried it on, they both felt strange. The frills at the bottom of the skirt just made it uncomfortable. Aside from that, however, they suppose there's not so much to complain about. The top fitted them both very well; no buttons were loose and no exposure of skin between the gaps of the buttons. Overall, they pretty much looked decent.

The day so far was going swell for the young twins. It was fortunate for them that the dean was kind enough to put them in the same classes so they wouldn't feel left out. The dean was a lot kinder than they expected. It could be from the common misconception that people always perceive deans of boarding schools to be bitter and mean. They didn't know where that whole trend came from. The St. Kyoudai dean was the complete opposite of that stereotype; she even managed to get lockers for them next to each other.

“I'm going to start on my homework now so I don't have to worry so much about it later,” Mei declared when she and Patia waited in line during lunch. She rummaged through her bag to look for her Chemistry book. Since she just got three of the five textbooks she required so far, the search for it shouldn't be difficult, right?

That was, until Mei realized that she couldn't find it, “What the...fuck...?”

Patia looked back at her sister curiously, “What's wrong?”

“My Chemistry book isn't here,” the dark brunette replied, “I know I didn't put it away in my locker...do you have your book with you?”

The light brunette shook her head, “No, I put mines away in my locker. Did you leave it in one of the classrooms by accident?”

“Maybe...” Mei responded, mentally retracing her steps, “be right back!” with that, she sprinted out of the cafeteria.

Patia was left alone for once, feeling awkward. She felt like that as she got the food, served for her and her sister, holding two trays of food, looking for a place to sit in a sea of unfamiliar faces. Once she found an empty table, she nearly ran while finding enough balance to not drop the trays.

-

“Ugh, why is Saiko always late for lunch?” Ikia muttered to herself holding trays of food for them both; both of them have most periods together, except for the classes before lunch and before dismissal. For some reason, the red-eyed twin was mostly late for lunch or is usually the last to arrive the dorm. It must be that she was such a slow walker or something...

As Ikia looked around, she found the light brunette she saw the day before sitting alone with two trays. She tried to ignore and walk elsewhere, but the urge to sit next to her won out in the end.

“You look lonely with two trays of food there,” Ikia found herself blurting it out. This made the pigtailed brunette blush slightly, fork in hand.

“That one's not for me,” the blushing female said, referring to the untouched food from across the round table, “it's for my sister. And you have two trays of food yourself with way more food!”

“Hey, a girl needs to eat her nutrients,” The older one joked, “Besides, both of them aren't mines, either. What's your name?”

Patia wiped her mouth with a tissue before responding, “Patia. Yours?”

Ikia sat down on a chair next to Patia as she replied, “My name is Ikia. My sister and I saw you yesterday.”

The brunette felt the blush on her face darken slightly, “you did?”

“Yeah, you have a twin, don't you?”

Patia took a bite of her white rice silently at this.

“It's okay, I have a twin sister, too.”

Intrigued, the brunette looked up, “Really?”

“Yeah, we were the only ones who're twins at first. We saw you guys going into the South dorms from our room.”

Patia took another bite of her food, her blush darkening more; it continued to darken when she felt a hand brushing through the strands of hair on her left pigtail, “What...are you...?”

Ikia just shrugged, “I just like how your hair is done.”

The younger one didn't respond, rather, she just allowed Ikia to brush her hair with her long fingers.

“I like the little wing charm on your hair bands,” the blue-haired female complimented.

“Th-thanks,” Pit stuttered, “It's traditional for me to wear them in white while my sister wears them in black.”

“Well, I gotta say, they make you look really cute,” Ikia said nearly subconsciously.

Great, the older female thought to herself, I think I'm becoming more like Saiko.

Patia nearly became entirely red at Ikia's comment, “Th-thank you...”

Ikia watched the brunette blushing, and she went to caress the reddened cheek, checking to see if maybe Patia isn't running a fever, “Are you okay?”

The hand now touching her cheek surprised the brunette, “Wha...! Yeah, I'm fine.”

The older one was about to ask if she was sure when she felt trembling beneath her touch , until she became more aware of her actions, “Oh, I'm sorry if I'm making you feel uncomfortable.” She quickly brought her hand back.

“Ah, it's okay!” Patia assured, “You did nothing wrong. I'm just bashful, is all.”

-

Outside the cafeteria stood a smiling Saiko, who's watching her sibling and the young, blushing brunette talking in a table with four trays of food, two of them full and ready to be eaten.

“Hmm, it looks like my sister welcomed one of them without waiting for me,” she said with a sarcastic frown to herself, “Oh well, at least she's having fun for once in her life. That food may look appetizing, but I'll just leave them alone for now.”

With that, the red-eyed female began walking, until she heard running footsteps behind. Interested to see who it was, she walked faster to the corner, and hid.

“Ugh, I swear, I'm never going to forgive myself for leaving Patia behind like that...,” Saiko heard a voice say. Curious, she figured it wouldn't hurt to take a peek to see who it was.

Well, what do you know...it's one of the adorable twins! Pity they can't wear that short skirt anymore, but frills on them aren't bad.

Mei held her Chemistry book in her arm and tip-toed to look through the window on the door that lead the cafeteria, expecting to see a lonely Patia sitting on one of the tables. The sight she instead saw shocked her...A tall, long-blue-haired woman was sitting next to a blushing, smiling Patia. Mei didn't know what they were saying, but from what she can see, she knew it wasn't good.

The dark brunette growled and ran off, dropping her book on the floor as she ran.

When she was out of sight, Saiko smirked some more, hmm, it looks to me we have a cute little girl worrying about her sister? I think that dark brunette twin is going to be one to entertain...
